The opposite is feeling burnt-out, cynical, victimised by external circumstances and powerless to make a difference. This person is also distrustful of people with little capacity to change their mind; basically a person you don’t want as a colleague, a boss or even a friend.
COGNITIVE CAPACITIES
Thinking skills to solve new problems with the ability to perceive anew, analyze data, go back to first principles, connect the dots across different fields to make judgement and come up with new solutions. The outputs are ingenuity, insight and innovation.
The opposite is being ignorant, biased and simplistic in one’s thinking, preferring to draw on herd thinking, being caged in existing paradigms and not differentiating different perspectives or realities.
